Free at Last! — More than two years after they were arrested by Iran and held on charges of trespassing and espionage, American hikers Shane Bauer, left, and Josh Fattel, center, were finally released on Sept. 21, 2011. Iranian authorities detained the pair, along with a third hiker, Sarah Shourd, who was freed in 2010, along the Iran-Iraq border in 2009; the three were eventually jailed after being accused of spying for the United States.
